During my weekend in Prague, I experienced two tours in one day from

In the morning I did the – this is a free tour. You walk around the city with a guide who tells you the history of the Czech Republic. This tour covers: Old Town Square, Astronomical Clock, Charles’ Bridge, Old Jewish Quarter, Old New Synagogue & the Golem, Powder Tower, Prague Castle & St. Vitus’ Cathedral, Art Nouveau Municipal House, Powder Tower, Church of Our Lady Before Tyn, Wenceslas Square, St. Nicolas Church…and much, more.  Apart from being free, this is a really good tour. I lucked out, as I had the Aussie Ashley in Prague – due to love – he was very entertaining and it was really enjoyable experienceDSCN0806

Then straight after this tour finished after the two and a half hours I paid to join

This was with an American called Angela – again this was a really good tour. This cost me CZK 300 – roughly £8.50. I saw and learnt more about Prague and its history. This tour covers: Prague Castle, Mala Strana, Hradcany, St. Vitus’ Cathedral, Strahov Monastery and Brewery, St. Nicolas’ Church, Domecek Gestapo/StB Prison, Wallenstein Palace, The Loreto, St. George’s Basilica, ‘Mozart’s House’, Novy Svet, The Black Tower, and much, more. The most beautiful thing I saw on that day, was St. Vitus’ Cathedral.

In conclusion, I found the day very tiring. It was very hot over 27 degress and I ended walking for over 7 hrs – something I do not do in my daily life. These tours are worth doing, but maybe over a couple of days – my time was limited.
